Archip Exhibition: Collaboration with BAS

Recently there was an exhibition at Archip to showcase the works of students from Archip and from the Bergen School of Architecture in Norway (BAS). It was an exchange and a collaborative project between the two institutions to research and design sustainable urban development. Both teachers and students were involved, with some Archip teachers going to BAS for a workshop, and vice versa, as well as some BAS students coming to Archip for field research and workshops.

Sustainable projects were created for places in Prague such as the Karlin Barracks, Prague Castle, Liechtenstein Palace, Rudolfinum, Zizkov Tower, the swimming stadium, and the Main Train Station. Different architectural designs were compared and discussed and overall it was a great exchange because students and teachers. Coming from different urban areas, and backgrounds, this experience gave everyone a different perspective to work with and design new projects.
