ARCHIP welcomes students already studying Architecture who want to spend one or more semesters in Prague as visiting students.
The first year classes started in October 2011 and corresponding subjects (1st and 2nd semester) are available. The choice of subjects depends on the student’s level as well as on his/her field of interest. Tutors will accommodate students’ individual study needs and may modify the brief of term papers accordingly, to account for the fact that the student is studying in Prague.
A good combination for visiting students is the studio of Architectural Design, a fine art oriented studio from the Arts and Crafts group of courses, a course from History and Theory and a complementary course such as Professional English or Project Presentation. Visiting students can accumulate approximately 20 ECTS credits per semester. The conditions for the recognition of credits and the content of the chosen courses will be contractually agreed between ARCHIP and the home university (Learning agreement).
If you wish to be admitted as a visiting student, please follow the instruction for the admissions procedure for prospective regular students (ARCHIP will consider your work and motivation as in the case of a regular student). The tuition fee per semester is in the same amount as for regular students.
