ARCHIP is an international landscape, on the other hand, it is a small family. It has been conceived as a hybrid of global and local scales, a new type of school. ARCHIP invites each student, regardless of their origin, to enter a new and common, shared space. The social environment within this intimate and familiar space of multiple nationalities and histories promotes openness, diversity and collaboration.
ARCHIP is a city within a school. The students live within an environment of multiple languages and multiple backgrounds. And this takes place within the urban landscape of Prague - an echo of the variety and the diversity found inside the school. Like the city of Prague, ARCHIP is a mixed landscape full of exceptions and distinction while it remains coherent as a whole.
At ARCHIP, we do not cultivate individuality in order for one to ‘be better’ than the rest. Yet, individuality is cultivated as a means towards a common space of uniqueness and variety, and always as an added value towards the benefit of a more complex community. Each individual is simply different, yet this difference is directed towards common goals. Moreover, this difference is used as an inspiration for others.
In short, at ARCHIP, you will learn amidst a diverse international community in a vibrant and cultural city, and within an intellectual environment that encourages and builds on your creative capacities and sets you up well for your creative professional life.
