How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
“Perfectionist, intense, devoted, creative, extroverted.”
Where are you from?
“Half France, half Italy.”
Tell us something about where you are from:
“Common to my two countries are wine and cheese. I like that a lot. Also, many great architects and theorists like Boullé, Rossi, Venturi… How would it be possible to not be inspired with such a background?”
What do you like most about living in Prague?
“The historical beauty of the city, its peace and safety.”
Favorite place in Prague:
What are your future career goals?
“Both working in the field of architecture and research in an architectural lab. My dream project is a park of strange objects, on a cliff in Normandy.”
What are your hobbies?
“I draw, play piano, take pictures, and paint. I also ride horses.”
Who is your favorite architect and why?
“Alvaro Siza. For the peace his buildings bring to me. For how he combines knowledge derived from both vernacular and modern architecture. For the importance of light in his work, and his humility.”
What made you choose to study architecture?
“As a child, an architect was a friend of my family. I saw him working on a humanitarian housing project, and I thought, ‘Architecture is a way to make good and interesting things happen.’”
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
"My goal in 10 years is to be part of an architectural office that features a lab for urban research and the future of educational complexes. Where exactly however I do not know."
Favorite architecture in Prague:
"Not exactly sure of the name of the building but the one in strossmayerovo namesti undergoing recomstruction. Bubenska 1? Anyway, a silent giant receiving a new life. I loved it when it was empty so I really hope it’s renovation will do him justice."
Do you have any advice for incoming students?
"Be ready to be invested. And don’t be scared to explore the city and it’s outskirts ! Visit the villas ! Go beyond the borders of the river, explore Prague 6 further than CVUT!"
What does a normal day look like for you?
"Wake up at 7am, enjoy a morning city light, work from home, at 9am go to school, work the whole day and come back around 6pm, then do some research or listen to some podcasts until I fall asleep."

Hello! My name is Sadie and I am interning for ARCHIP this semester while studying abroad in Prague. I attend the University of Colorado Boulder and major in Public Relations with a Business Minor.
