How to Apply to ARCHIP
So, you want to apply to ARCHIP? Lucky for you, our application process is quick, easy, and straightforward. Here, we’ve compiled a step-by-step guide to get you through the process without issue.
To start your application, you’ll need to register your email with the ARCHIP system. The application is done through our information system, and registering your email will give you access to the application form. You can start by visiting our Admissions page and choose either Bachelor’s or Master’s, depending on your preferred program. About halfway down the page, you’ll see a text box where you can enter your email, then click “submit.”
The first step of the application — done! That wasn’t too bad, was it?
Next, you’ll need to find the email sent by our system — the title will read “Access to ARCHIP IS created.” There, you’ll see your personalized log-in credentials and a link to log in to ARCHIP IS. Once you’ve entered your login credentials and accessed the system, you’ll be asked to immediately change your password. Once you’ve chosen a new password, you’re all set to begin the application forms.
The first question that will appear after changing your password is very important. It asks you which program you are applying to — either our three-year Bachelor’s or two-year Master’s program. This question is especially important because you cannot change your answer afterwards without creating an entirely separate account, so be sure to select the correct program for you! For more information on the Bachelor’s program, click here. For more information on the Master’s program, click here.
You’ve made it to the application form — you’re almost done now!
The application form will ask for a variety of information, starting with personal information, then contact information, prior education, and finally, your portfolio. All of the fields marked with a red asterisk are required, so be sure to carefully fill those fields out and provide as much information as you can. In terms of portfolio requirements for applicants, the necessary materials are slightly different depending on the program to which you’re applying. For information on portfolio requirements for Bachelor’s program applicants, look here. For the details for Master’s program applicants, click here.
Once you’ve uploaded your portfolio, you’ve officially completed the ARCHIP application! Congratulations! You will hear back regarding admissions decisions by April 30th.
