Where to Go For a Light Snack
ARCHIP’s location in the trendy Holešovice district gives you a great opportunity to explore the many food options available. From fancy restaurants to small cafés offering light bites, this lively neighbourhood accommodates all. To help you navigate the variety, we have come up with five great places to drop by for a delicious snack.
1. Naše toustárna
This small bakery is situated in the heart of Holešovice district and is an ideal spot for grabbing a healthy, quick bite. The term “Naše toustárna” roughly translates to “Our toastery”, thus it is no surprise that one finds here an amazing selection of bread toasts with all kinds of fillings. From a classic BLT sandwich to a more fun option such as the Pastrami toast, the plentitude of choice will surely satisfy your taste buds. And if you really cannot decide, there is also the possibility of a DIY toasted meal!

2. Barry Higgel’s Coffee House
This friendly little coffee shop is only a couple of blocks down from ARCHIP. Apart from high-quality coffee, you can also stop here for some delicious pastries or other small bites such as their tasty banana bread with peanut butter which customers rave about! Another plus is the fact that all staff speaks English so you are guaranteed to get exactly what you ordered!

3. Phill’s Corner
This airy, trendy café offers everything from healthy meals and snacks to coffee and smoothies. Just a quick stroll from ARCHIP, you can head here for a quick lunch or grab one of their gourmet sandwiches to go. Moreover, you will definitely be impressed by the unique design of the café’s interior and you might even spend a couple more minutes in their design shop.

Ok, this one may not be a “light bite” option but hey, it is still well worth mentioning! This food-truck is currently parked in the hipsterish cultural center Vnitroblock. A short walk from ARCHIP, this burger place is perfect if you are in need of some comfort food and want to immerse yourself in the artsy atmosphere of Holešovice. And in case a burger is too much for you, you can also just pick up their delicious Belgian-style fries!

Although you might need to take a tram to get to this small Japanese-inspired sushi sandwich shop, it is definitely worth a visit. Onigirazu just recently opened and is a one-of-its-kind food place in Prague, offering vegan versions of Japanese rice ball sandwiches. You can choose from four different options on the menu and even grab their miso soup if you are feeling extra peckish. Next time you are on your way to ARCHIP, drop by. Promise you will not be disappointed!
