Central Group Competition for Architecture Students

The annual Central Group competition is back for 2018/2019 to offer great challenges and great prizes to architecture students studying in the Czech Republic.
This year's competition topic is "A unique building in a complicated environment". The rules are simple:
- choose a spot in Prague which is somehow unorthodox and the environment is complicated (could be brownfield or a smaller piece of land)
- project and design a new modern building at the spot you selected
- win
You can also use your school project if it fits the competition's topic and you don't have time to create a new one. The projects will be evaluated by a board of architects including Zdenek Lukes, David Vavra, Adam Gebrian and Ondrej Chybik.
The competition is open until the end of January 2019, the winners will be announced in CAMP in April 2019.
Prizes are as follows:
- 1st place: CZK 100,000 and an internship opportunity at a prestigious architecture studio / firm
- 2nd place: CZK 50,000
- 3rd place: CZK 25,000
The competition will be officially released throughout September or October and that's when you'll be able to find more info here.
