Urban Talks: Mandaworks (SWE)

On Monday, September 9 there will be a talk by the well-known Swedish architectural studio Mandaworks. Martin Arfalk and Kateřina Vondrová will come share their experience of working for this world-famous firm. As part of their visit Arfalk and Vondrová are not only going to give a lecture – which we organized in cooperation with CAMP (Center for Architecture and Urban Planning) and that going to be held at their premises – but will also lead a workshop for our students at ARCHIP. 

 

The Swedish studio Mandaworks is no newcomer. They have been involved in a number of major projects – be it the design of a new neighborhood in the Stockholm port, the transformation of the Reykjavik square or the conversion of the industrial bay in Tampere, Finland into an innovative hub. This will also not be their first visit to Prague, since they won the second place in an architectural competition for the revitalization of the Victory Square in Dejvice last year. 

The lecture will be in English with an on-spot translation into Czech.
