The Henning Larsen: Playbook for Biobased Buildings

As part of the Kurilla-Prokop Rethinking.Logistics studio Friday lectures, Jakob Strømann‑Andersen, Director of Innovation and Sustainability at Henning Larsen will speak at ARCHIP, Friday at 10h30 in Studio05.

In this session, Jakob will share key insights from Henning Larsen’s pioneering work with biobased materials and low-carbon design. His sustainability leadership has helped shape construction practices across Scandinavia and internationally. With a background as a civil engineer, a PhD, and LEED and WELL certifications, Jakob leads innovation and sustainability initiatives at Henning Larsen. He also oversees collaborative research programs with leading European universities and MIT, advancing new approaches to sustainable and biobased architecture.
