As part of Research Tuesdays, Elan Neuman Fessler, led a discussion — Storytelling Forms (or forms telling stories) — on temporality, newness and scrambling.

“What more can form say and how? Beyond function, style, or beauty – can it speak of memory, time, or otherness? As time and architectural records accumulate in a continuous process of newness inevitably becoming no-longer-new, both history and newness remain fundamentally problematic. Perpetually elusive dreams. How can architecture figure itself within, without, against and through time?
