In February, our teacher, Jakub Kopecký, took part in the Erasmus+ mobility for teachers and spent a week at the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS) in Norway. He joined their “Cross Courses,” a collaborative workshop where students from different years come together to kick off the semester. It’s one of the few moments when BAS students work across year levels and gain valuable shared experience. The week was filled with site visits, interviews with local organizations, and thoughtful group discussions. The final presentations were held in collaboration with the Bergen Assembly, a cultural institution behind the city’s Triennale and other public events. Thanks to them, the courses are even open to the general public.

Experiences like these bring fresh perspectives not just to our students, but to our teaching team too.
