On June 18–19, 2026, Budapest hosted the second edition of the EDGE Architecture Festival, an international platform dedicated to contemporary architecture, urbanism, and the future of cities. This year, the festival raised questions that resonate across the architectural scene today: How should we design in a world marked by the climate crisis? How will new technologies transform architecture? And what does it actually mean to build in the 21st century?
